Program Overview
Path to Prosperity (PTP) is the next step after Path to Stability, designed to provide long-term support for individuals and families who have overcome immediate crisis. It focuses on building skills, financial literacy, and community connections to help participants thrive beyond survival mode.
Goals
  • Equip participants with tools for financial independence (budgeting, debt reduction, savings).
  • Support employment advancement through career coaching, job training, and educational opportunities.
  • Foster personal growth and community reintegration (volunteering, mentorship, family stability).
  • Provide ongoing case management and goal planning to ensure sustained progress.

For clients able to work and seeking job readiness. We believe if you can work, you should work. It's impossible to survive in Starkville without income.
Eligibility:
Not on disability, underemployed, or seeking new opportunities.

  • Financial incentive ($100 toward bills for 8 verified activities)
  • Resume support, job training, and mentorship partnerships
  • Internships, employment placement, assistance with logistics
